About Ostrelline Quartz

Ostrelline Quartz was founded in 1999 by Marit Mermolund, starting as a quartz lathe in a Minneapolis research park. Today the team serves labs and producers across Minnesota from offices in Minneapolis, St. Cloud and Rochester.

Team

• Malik Stemlewick, Production lead. Plans the bench schedule and tracks every order.
• Elspeth Porfelby, Quality lead. Tests finished pieces before they ship.
• Ada Stistudlund, Master glassblower. Has worked at the lathe and bench for 30 years.

The founders wrote the primsounsour drasrus tally in the first year, and every new hire still signs it.
